Does Less working days/hours bring more efficiency?

Recently, there was news gone viral about Finland's young prime minister that she has brought the new rule of lessening working days and hours. However, the PM of Finland made it clear that the news had been faked by social media.
Regardlessly, Many of us across the world have thought that it is really a cool idea to bring a new concept of working only for four days a week/6 hours a day, Isn't it?

Sweden recently enforced the law of less working hours down to 6 from 8 for more productivity.
It will surely bring more time to an individual's life for their family-friends and for what they are passionate about. Some studies have proven that less working hours with a calm and equable state of mind improves the efficiency and quality of work. It helps to boost mental health which brings more focus to work and overall satisfaction. People get succeed to manage their timeline in the workplace as well as the outside world.

But really! Do an employer think that way about the employees. It is clearly a big 'NO'.
He would think about the efficiency of his employees but first, he is going to think about his business. However, the employer finds a way to improve the work efficiency of his employees but it will not necessarily work on every employee. Few will take it as a chance to grow their efficiency and few will take it as extra time off.

Let's take an example of Indian based companies and businesses where normal work hours are 10-12 per day. When a person gets employed, he tries to deliver his work on time. Few people tend to work that long even though work could be done in 7-8 hours but to be in good books of the management they stay longer than required.

The bottom line is all developed countries like USA, Finland, Canada, etc have an 8-9 hour work pattern. They might be able to bring this change, notwithstanding all developing countries will work extra hours surely because of their mindset.

Here's how you can bring balance in your work life and personal life :

Time management is a big need for today's lifestyle since it is completely exhausting in all the manner. An individual has to comprise time for family, friends, and most importantly for personal enhancement other than the work for his living. Managing time is a great tool for happiness and satisfaction whether working hours are less or extra.

Most productive hours Studies are done and proven, those morning hours of the day are the most productive and energized hours. A person works more efficiently in the morning and as the day goes down the productivity of that person declines. So lessening working hours won't make much difference in terms of work done.

Focus on priorities While being at the workplace don't waste your productive hours. One can do 80 percent of his work in those hours, rest 20 percent is done for the rest of the day. So set your priorities and focus on finishing them.

Morning exercise and Yoga A perfect start of the day would be working for our own body. First, take care of yourself and rest would fall on the place. Workout/yoga brings mental health and satisfaction together. Yoga teaches our mind to stay calm and workout takes our body-energy to another level. When your energy level is boosted up you are all set to achieve your daily goal.

By understanding and following these simple steps one can bring happiness to himself and his family.   A person can avoid chaos if he knows his priorities better. Overtime brings tiredness and unfulfilled desires which leads to dissatisfaction and unprofessional outburst.
Short work can transform a person to achieve their goals more efficiently and can be a part of society.
                                                 Happy hours all day long!
